April 16th is the Y's Healthy Kid's Day!

The Rochester Area Family Y will be hosting a Healthy Kids Day on April 16th, 2011!  This is an event that is held nationwide that celebrates the YMCA's vision of fostering "Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility."

'Shark Tank' Watch Party!

Tippi Toes of Rochester will be hosting a 'Shark Tank' watch party on Sunday, March 20th at 8pm!  Plan on joining us to watch Sarah and Megan go Tippi Toe to Tippi Toe with the 'Sharks'.  Today we were notified that our episode was selected to be on the Season 2 Sneak Preview show on Sunday, March 20th.

Tippi Toes Dance Company is coming to the Rochester Family Y! 

Classes Begin in April!

Mommy/Daddy & Me   Saturday 4:00 pm – 4:45 pm

This class is perfect for your little wiggler.  The class is for children who have a hard time staying in one place and love to move and groove.  We will be singing songs, dancing and working on motor skills.  Our favorite thing to do with this age is use our imagination and dance around the room, while teaching them the basics of dance!  (Suggested age:  18 months – 3 years)

Hip-Hop   Saturday 3:00 pm – 3:45 pm

This class is perfect for your child ready to jump into the trendy style of hip-hop dancing.  Hip-Hop, also known as street dancing is very popular with young children today.  Tippi Toes uses parent-friendly music with moves your child will be working on at home.  They will be working on leaps, jumps and rhythm.  (Suggested age:  5 years - 12 years)

Tippi Toes on ABC's "Shark Tank" March 20th at 8pm!

On March 20, 2011, Tippi Toes Dance Company will appear on ABC’s “Shark Tank.”  After an extensive application process, a few members of our team were asked to fly to Los Angeles in October 2010 to appear in front of the Sharks!  In the "Shark Tank," our team explained the features and benefits of Tippi Toes Dance Company with hopes that a Shark would be willing to invest his or her hard earned money in our company.  Their potential investment in Tippi Toes Dance Company could push our company even further toward our goal of making a children's television show and becoming a household name!  It was an intense, intimidating and exhilarating experience that we are thrilled to share with the people and organizations in our lives that have made an impact on us.  While we cannot reveal to anyone what the outcome was, we have been informed that our segment will be airing on March 20th at 8pm CST for all the country to see!
