HUGE NEWS!! We are moving! On Wednesday Jan 4, we will begin holding all Rochester studio classes at 1751 Hwy 52. We will be sharing space with Fred Astaire Dance Studio and Rochester International Dance Studio. We will be located next to Schmitt Music.

What this means for you- two dance studios (one larger than our current studio), more class offerings and all your dance needs under one roof!

Preston & Harmony Dance Classes Begin in 2012!

Rochester Montessori School

Baby Ballet Class to Begin 10/7/11

Tippi Toes Baby Ballet class will begin at the Rochester International Dance Studio on Friday, October 7th! This class is designed for children between the ages of 2 and 4 that are ready to dance by themselves. Class begins at 10:30 am - 11:15 am. What a great way to start the weekend!

Great Family Hip-Hop Day!

Camp Kingdom Kids

Tippi Toes Dance Recital

Tippi Toes of Rochester will hold it's 1st annual dance recital at Hill Theatre on the RCTC campus on Saturday, May 21st at 11:00 am.  We would like to thank every parent and extended family member for allowing us to be a part of your child's life.  It is such a privelage for us to wake up everyday and look forward to seeing your child!  Our dancers light up our lives and we absolutely adore teaching them and watching them grow!  Thank you for allowing us to have the best jobs ever!

Classes Begin in April!

Mommy/Daddy & Me   Saturday 4:00 pm – 4:45 pm

This class is perfect for your little wiggler.  The class is for children who have a hard time staying in one place and love to move and groove.  We will be singing songs, dancing and working on motor skills.  Our favorite thing to do with this age is use our imagination and dance around the room, while teaching them the basics of dance!  (Suggested age:  18 months – 3 years)

Hip-Hop   Saturday 3:00 pm – 3:45 pm

This class is perfect for your child ready to jump into the trendy style of hip-hop dancing.  Hip-Hop, also known as street dancing is very popular with young children today.  Tippi Toes uses parent-friendly music with moves your child will be working on at home.  They will be working on leaps, jumps and rhythm.  (Suggested age:  5 years - 12 years)

Tippi Toes on ABC's "Shark Tank" March 20th at 8pm!

On March 20, 2011, Tippi Toes Dance Company will appear on ABC’s “Shark Tank.”  After an extensive application process, a few members of our team were asked to fly to Los Angeles in October 2010 to appear in front of the Sharks!  In the "Shark Tank," our team explained the features and benefits of Tippi Toes Dance Company with hopes that a Shark would be willing to invest his or her hard earned money in our company.  Their potential investment in Tippi Toes Dance Company could push our company even further toward our goal of making a children's television show and becoming a household name!  It was an intense, intimidating and exhilarating experience that we are thrilled to share with the people and organizations in our lives that have made an impact on us.  While we cannot reveal to anyone what the outcome was, we have been informed that our segment will be airing on March 20th at 8pm CST for all the country to see!

Once upon a time in a land far away there lived incredible princesses they were intelligent, hard working young women with big dreams. They were inventors, doctors, dancers, & teachers. They were kind to others and always used their manners. Working together as a team they taught each other many of their trades and skills. They loved gathering together to dance, create and imagine.  These wonderful princesses host a magical princess camp where princesses and fairies alike came to join in the dream world.

We would love for your princess to join us. We will have many familiar princesses in sight but will also be introducing new friends; Princess Polite, Fairy Friendly, Princess Manners, and the dazzling Dream Princess.  We will host a mother/daughter tea party on Friday during the last hour of camp.

Princess Camp dates will be announced shortly.

Tippi Toes Recital!!!

Recital time is our favorite time of the year at Tippi Toes!  Is is a time when our hard working dancers get to show off the moves they have been working on all year long.  We encourage you to invite family and friends to cheer on your dancers.  Each class will get a chance to spend time on the stage wowing our audience.  We will hold one show on May 21, 2011, starting at 11 am.  Please plan on staying through the entire recital so each dancer gets to feel the excitement of a packed auditorium.  This event and parking are FREE!  The 2011 Tippi Toes Recital will be held at Hill Theater on the RCTC campus.  We look forward to seeing everyone on May 21st!
